About the work from home job/internship
We are seeking an experienced assessment writer specializing in human anatomy and biology to join our team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality assessment content, including quizzes, exams, and other evaluation materials, primarily focused on human anatomy and biology concepts. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy and biology principles, excellent writing skills, and the ability to create engaging and accurate assessments.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop assessment items (multiple-choice questions, short answer questions, essays, etc.) aligned with human anatomy and biology curriculum standards
2. Create assessment blueprints and frameworks to guide the development of evaluation materials
3. Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and relevance of assessment content, following established guidelines and learning objectives
4. Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and instructional designers to review and revise assessment materials
5. Conduct item analysis and review assessment results to improve the quality and effectiveness of assessments
6. Stay updated with advancements in human anatomy and biology education to incorporate relevant content into assessments
7. Maintain a database of assessment items, including metadata and performance data, for tracking and analysis purposes
8. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities related to assessment writing and educational best practices
Qualifications:
1. PhD or a Master's degree in Biology, Anatomy, Education, or a related field
2. Proven experience in assessment writing, particularly in the field of human anatomy and biology (as per Bloom's Taxonomy level)
